I just installed these and already like how sharp they look. I did have to watch the install video on how to install them, but after that it was very easy to install. However, some people my look right at the clips and realize how you attach them. Once installed they matched my car perfectly and the clips are low profile.
I bought these as a gift, but I still had to install them. They installed in minutes and the end product looks great. I thought more clips will be necessary but the ones that came with it were more insufficient. Her Model 3 is now cooler in the days and uses far less power to keep the cabin cool here in South Florida.
These make a huge difference in the Texas heat. Fit my car perfectly. My husband installed them so I can’t attest to the installation but he said it wasn’t bad. I feel like the car is at least 10 degrees cooler with these in place. I don’t even notice them from the outside which I was concerned about. There are no gaps along the sides.
I highly recomend this product some much so that when I'm at a Tesla charging station and see another M3 I tell the owner all about it. My car is now comfortably cool with lower fan setting thus less energy usage. the only down side is if you ride with the windows open it tends to make noise ratteling.
I spent weeks reading different articles about the pros and cons of a Model 3 sun shade for the glass roof.I decided to try this product and it reduced the interior cabin temp dramatically.Unfortunately, many tiny places will not tint the roof because of possible water damage to the A Pillars and this was a great solution.
It works well and was easy to install. Only complaint is that the rear section does droop a little bit, but not a big deal for me as no one ever sits there lol
