This filter is helpful to keep the bad smell out of the car and keep the car fresh. It fits well on it. The thickness is at the right size. It takes 10 minutes to install and does not require any tool to install. It makes the car look good and smell good. It worths the money to replace the filter every year. I recommend it.
Watch a video before trying this install. Two panels need to be removed (one carpet and one under the dash). Not too difficult but not easy either. My filters were perfectly clean and probably didn’t need to be replaced after two years. I suggest replacing the filters in your frunk first to get rid of the smell.
Arrived on time. I loved these air filters especially because they look and feel premium. Also the charcoal balls on the filter makes it look cool and a premium product. It also came with additional accessories to make the installation easier. Always a fan of their products and Tesla accessories. Highly recommend this air filter.
Stopped by every car part store in town... none in stock for Tesla filters. Amazon to the rescue again. Delivered quickly and easy to install in less than 20 minutes (not to shabby for first time Tesla install.) Saved us from having to drop off car to sit there all day as well to change out a quick filter. Cabin air is fresh now.
The product arrived and it was exactly as described. There are several YouTube videos on liine that deal with installation. The install was fairly straightforward and if you have some general hand tools available the install process shouldn't be a problem. I was very pleased with the product and will be ordering it again in the future.
These are hepa Filters. I don't notice much different from the original tesla filters that came with the car. I can still smell pollen and exhaust fumes when driving.
It comes with all the tools you need. The pry tool and the torq wrench work just fine. The filters also seem to be of higher quality than the OEM filters that come with the car. The OEM ones came out pretty filthy. Time will tell how these hold up but so far so good.
Don't wait 2.5 years to replace your filters like me. I am so glad that I ordered these. The kit came with a T20 Torx wrench and a trim tool to remove the panels also. This truly is a complete DIY kit. I am so happy with these that I am buying another set for my wife's Tesla now.
Well packaged. Everything you'll need to replace your old filters. Nice filter elements. OME was almost 3.5 years old and started to smell in 2023.
Easy to install and was a perfect fit compared to stock but better.
The quality of the filter is high. It has the beads inside the filter. It filters the bad odor coming in the cabin. The filter itself has indication the airflow direction that eliminates the confusion how it should be installed. Also it comes with all the tools needed to remove the air filter cover. After using it for a few days, it seems to filter out the bad outside fume and pollution.
Thumps up for this well made quality and perfect fit filter for my model Y turning into 25K miles . The edge all around sponge easily slide into the filter slot and then tight sealed up naturally. I watched the installation video on the product page twice to get the main idea clearly and the plastics tool in the box is very helpful to open up plastics covers fasteners. But I have to admit taking me about half hour to complete, not that easy as seen in the video. However now the effort well worth it for much more fresh air and couple hundreds bucks saving with DIY fun.
The BASENOR Upgraded Cabin Air Filters for my Tesla Model Y are an excellent upgrade! This makes a big difference in the quality of the air that is being filtered into the car as the filter is a HEPA and activated carbon type. I also don’t get that unpleasant smell or the smell from the outside when driving through the cities with traffic or construction works.I found the installation rather simple and this is thanks to the instructions that came with it. It is quite evident that the filters are a good fit and the materials used are of high quality. They definitely look like they are built to last and I am satisfied knowing that they are filtering the air better than the stock filters.If you want to enhance the air quality of your Tesla and get rid of allergens, odor, and other pollutants, this is the filter you need. This also comes in set of two which is a great thing as well and makes it even more worth the price. I would strongly suggest this product to every Tesla Model 3 and Model Y owner! 5 stars!
I like that the products looks great and it's easy to install.
The good: No nasty old sock smell. Fits perfectly. I have other products from this vendor and was quite happy with them.The bad: Purchased recently, here we are 6 months later and the filter no longer works. The cabin of the vehicle is constantly filled with smells from outside. But there is no old sock odor. This wasn't a gradual thing, around 3-4 weeks ago, it suddenly became quite noticeable. When the filter was new to 4 month old, it worked great.I wanted this to work so badly. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to go back to OEM as they work better. When I swap them out, I'll take a look and see about posting pics of what they look like.Followup:The vendor contacted me about my review and offered me a refund based upon my experience. I should also say they did not ask me to revise my review as part of the offer. I asked them to wait a bit for me to swap with a set of OEM filters and see if the issues cleared up. The OEM filters did indeed stop the exhaust odors and dust/pollen issues. I've included two photos of the filter front and back and they look reasonable for 5 month old filters. These filters have no odor and did not develop the sock smell. No idea why they stopped being effective. OEM filters for me work about 18 months before the sock stink starts. This filter should last a year minimum under typical driving conditions.I am quite pleased with Basenor for reaching out to me. So a star is added back for their customer service.

This is a great replacement HEPA Filter. Actually it's an upgrade from the existing HEPA Filter that Tesla has. This also has activated carbon which neutralizes any odor in the car. The make and look is perfect and it's quite thick too. But it doesn't impact the speed of the air flow. This is a perfect buy to improve the air quality of the car.
Poor quality. Tag fell off during the installation process. It will now be very difficult to remove the filter when it is time to be replaced. Do yourself a favor; buy a better quality filter from another vendor.
This filter for sure a lot better in quality than the OEM filter. I finally installed them today. It fits perfect. I wasn’t sure how the quality will be when I bought but after receiving it feels stronger than the OEM and the fitment ship is perfect. If you are looking for a filter for model 3 I would highly recommend this.

This replacement cabin air filter for my Tesla Model Y fits perfectly and the air is very fresh.
I noticed someone mentioned that they smell. I did not notice that with mine at all and most others say the same. But if you don’t bother to clean out the air intake first with a good foaming cleaner and all you do is replace the filter, then I can definitely see how the smell would remain. I went through the process of cleaning out the intake and then installed these filter and there is NO smell.I also noticed that there are a lot more carbon balls in these than compared to the ones I purchased previously. Also they have a more premium quality fit and finish.One more thing, make sure to put your car in car wash mode whenever the car is washed and possibly get a good front hood seal to keep the rain water from getting into the air intake. If water gets in there, that is what is causing the funky smell in your car.The installation is as easy and simple as replacing the factory ones and they perform even better since the provides both HEPA and carbon filtration.TLDR: clean the air intake before installing this filter and make sure water and leaves do not enter the air intake.
