Is Your Car Eligible?
Hardware matters here. The 2026.32 branch is confirmed eligible for vehicles running an AMD infotainment computer. Older MCU1 and MCU2 (Intel-based) cars are not supported. In practical terms, that covers:
- Model 3 (2021 refresh and later)
- Model Y (all production years)

How to Check and Install

- Check your current version. Tap Controls β Software. Your installed version appears at the top. If you're already on 2026.32.3 or 2026.32.6, you're on this branch and may receive .7 as a minor patch.
- Enable Advanced Updates. Go to Controls β Software β Software Update Preference and set it to Advanced. This opts you into earlier access during staged rollouts.
- Stay connected to Wi-Fi overnight. Tesla downloads updates in the background while the car is parked and on Wi-Fi. A strong home network connection is the single most reliable way to receive updates promptly.
